The agression makes me sick. I have my opinion, and mr. Yanqui dog may also have his own, but... the difference is that gun enthusiasts tend to insult others "narrow mind", "drivel" and others don't. Sympthomatic isn't it...
And no I do not agree with you. I know that your "Lonely Planet" & other based on stereotypes guides call my country the wild east, but we still have less brutal crime (murders, rapes, muggings). Some time ago NEWSWEEK POLSKA (the polish edition of an AMERICAN magazine) wrote (giving figures) that we may have the american rate of crime (counted in crimes per 1000 people) in 2007 if we don't do something about our police... so sorry, but even if the Polish edition of an American magazine says Europe is safer... then I agree |

statisticly the places with most gun ownership have the most murders. Only the ultra right idiots don't seem to realise that.

By Yanqui dog - Mon 15/09/03 14:51:32 GMT Gun control does not equal murder control....sorry. Check the rates of violent crime in this regulatory paradise called Europe and then draw your conclusions. "Bowling for Columbine"? Gimme a break, irresponsible liberal distortions from Michael Moore. Sorry for the off topic rant but I can't take this sort of drivel without responding. I doubt it changed your narrow mind. |

By Mike - Sun 14/09/03 02:42:18 GMT Yep really interesting document. Worth the 102 minutes in the cinema. Quite scary too... I think I wouldn't want to be a teenager in the USA these days... Europe is so much safer.
BTW: I almost missed it in the cinema, cause in Poland it came out under the title Zabawy z bronią (literally: Playing With Guns). What a f***ed up dude came up with that title?? |

By DDMan - ddman@rcsis.com Sat 13/09/03 18:35:09 GMT Not really...or not yet at least, but I swear, what is it with Americans and their lack of fun. Iv never gone to a club because I know all people do is go drink, talk, and grind up on each other. There has only been 2 foam parties in the area (21+ and im only 19) and nothing else. Although this is an issue, there are so many better things over there! 1. Less crime (at least less murders...good gun control) 2. NICE cars....and better drivers! 3. They drive on the wrong side of the road (always wanted to do that) 4. AUTOBAHN!!! 5. Girls arent stuck up 6. Girls are better looking
Im sure I could make a bigger list, but seriously...after seeing all these taped from Leon and Akuna, I seriously would consider it. If not moving there, at least a nice vacation.
