Next Saturday and Sunday, July 13 and 14, is the annual California Extreme classic arcade game convention at the Hyatt Regency Convention Center in Santa Clara California, across the street from California's Great America amusement park (which includes Boomerang Bay waterpark). Over 400 classic video games, pinball machines, and mechanical coin operated novelties, all set on free play. I, Desert Hawk, will be there, as will by weird friend from Las Vegas. Getting back to topic: on Friday I will spend the day at Great America riding water rides (a river rapids ride, a shoot the chute ride, and a log flume), swimming in the wave pool and other attrections in the waterpark, and of course looking at soaking wet women. After the park closes, and late Saturday night I will go in the hot tub at the hotel (all of this fully clothed, of course). If you want to meet me and some other interesting people, play classic arcade games, eat overpriced food, drink overpriced beer, and get wet, then come to California Extreme!
