One of the important aspects when buying anything is your particular use. As you know everyone is different.
One thing often forgoton with digital cameras is the batteries. I would look for a camera which uses regular AA bateries. That way when your batteries go dead (trust me it will)you can always run over to a convience store and buy some new ones to get you by. You can have all the MEGA pixels you want but once the batteries go dead the camera is useless. Sony always want you to buy their batteries and are very costly. I use rechargable AA Nickel-Metal Hydride. If they do go dead or I forget to charge them I can always stick a couple regular AA's and I'm back in business.

By Watergirl - Sat 06/09/03 17:39:39 GMT We are getting a new camera today. We have been thinking of buying a Sony DSC-p72 or a DSC-p92.We have heard all about what it can do from the salesman of course but were wondering what you guys thought or if anybody had one. All the pics posted on the Forum so far have been taken with an older Nikon cool pix 100.I guess its done its job but we are limited to 21 pics in "fine mode",then we have to return home to download. Can be very frustrating. Also in the past a lot of my pics have been darker than what I would like.We plan on a lot of indoor pool stuff this winter. So if you have any suggestions I would appreciate it. Thanks Watergirl
