Gimpshop ( a free Photoshop type alternative) will open up PDF files (individual pages, then you can export these as a large range of file types, jpeg included.
See website here. http://www.gimpshop.com Also in addition tor poster below re-screenshots, if you have Windows 7 operating system, there is a tool in the start menu called sniping tool. It can crop to what ever is displayed on your screen and output to an image file. |

By MK - wamtec@comcast.net Fri 08/03/13 02:47:19 GMT I do not think there is any program that can automatically extract pics from a PDF to a Jpeg......but there is a real simple and basic way you can do this manually. Just
1) Load the pdf file and scroll until you find the pic you want to save, then
2) Hold the CTRL key down on your keyboard while hitting the PRT SCR print screen key on your key, This will capture your pc screen to your pc's memory or clipboard, then
3) Open up your image edting software that you normally use....and start a new file and hit the PASTE key, and this will paste that pdf page from your print screen capture operation. Then...
4) Drag the captured image to the top left corrner of your image editor and then trim and crop the image out, then just SAVE AS that picture you captured as a JPG file.
These 4 steps take about 1 minute to do.....or 2 minutes if you like to dick around with cropping and enhancing brightness etc.
