Some of my wetlook contacts would tell you that the most expensive wet scene that ever did...was the last model they hired just before the wife found out what they were doing without her knowing about it, and the resulting divorce that came afterwards... ha ha

You could also argue that Titanic was really expensive at all...cos sure..it cost 200 million to make..but the film grossed over a billion dollars, so it made over 800 million dollars profit. It's only expensive if you lose money on a wasteful movie...like the 57 million it cost to make the latest Ben and Jen movie "Gigli", that only made 3 million at the box office and was 54 million dollars down the toilet. You could say that about Madonna's 40 million dollar bomb last year called SWEPT AWAY (that has island wet scenes that are so lame they are not worth seeing) cos that film could not even get half a million in ticket sales before they pulled it and sent it direct to the video stores instead.

Ask any producer what the most expensive wetlook scene they ever made was...and you will normally hear horror stories "murphy's law" and things that went wrong....ie. the models who failed to show up, or the rain that came and caused the shoot to be delayed...or...the infamous "the camcorder ate the tape" horror story...where you shoot for an hour and then find out that there is no footage cos the camera has malfunctioned (which is why I never do a shoot without at least 2 other backup cameras filming too).

Doubtless Leonmoomin might tell you his most expensive wetlook scene was the one that resulted in almost burning his entire house down last year...
