In reply to Message (57212.3) onteresting article about sheep and goats...
By ssiei - Tue 05/03/13 17:38:11 GMT It's an interesting article on psychology, sadly it is just animal psychology that is discussed in the article, as sexual behaviour of different animals are described, like sheep, goats, birds, chicken, etc.
I fear all these studies do not help us in any way understanding our human wetlookers' psychology, while they may indeed be interesting from a naturalistic point of view.
Besides, I don't agree at all with the underlaying concept, that wetlook can be labeled as being merely a sexual-related behaviour. I Believe that considering wetlook only relatively to sexuality, and focusing only on its (adult) role as a sexual prefence or fetish, constitutes the biggest mistake. This prevents any attempt to fully understand the role it played in our lives and the mechanisms it involves in our brains, since it starts often at a very early age - an age when sexuality is not yet developed at all (contrary to what the old freudian school mantains).
