By sjakie - Sun 03/03/13 15:48:59 GMT "wadlopen" isn't mudwalk. "wadlopen" is walking on the bottom of the sea at low tide from the mainland to one of the islands in the waddensea and most of the time back. it is a walk about 10 to 20 km. and sometimes you had to walk through water (or swim if you are a little person). The first 500 meters , when you start on the mainland, it is muddy, and if you walk back the last 500 meters. on most starting locations is behind the dykes a lake, or a pond to wash the mud off. I have done thise three times allready, and I thinking about a fourth time. It is fun, it is wet, and good for your condition |
