Yes i think to take backups on my media, and i think discs are better than CD/DVD´s now.

By justauser - Sat 02/03/13 21:00:38 GMT I got everything on my pc´s harddrive and a copy of everything on an external hd (some of the files cost money and harddrives might fail, so backups are mandatory).
As the pc is connected to my tv, there´s no need for having anything on dvd or cd for use in a standalone player. And the space on burnt media is much more expensive than on harddrives.
Of course theres no nice dvd wall with my favourite stuff to see. But is it always advisable to show that stuff? I mean, someone who´s not into it comes visiting and sees it? Maybe (s)he is offended?

By Wetlooker2 - Sat 02/03/13 20:01:23 GMT I have a large amount of images on the computer now, planning might burn them out on the counter or might store on an external hard drive.
But movies, however, I have always wanted to buy on DVD and have the shelf, but with today's technology, I need to download and burn them to disk.
Is there anyone who burn movies on discs or store them on disk?
I think of old time porn movies which you buy and store on a bookshelf, it could be neat with a shelf with a collection of wetlook movies that you can see from the sofa.
