FWIW, my wife and I went to Le Reve last time we were in Vegas and really enjoyed it.  We got tickets in the very front row, which they warn you is the "splash zone" where its possible you will get wet.  Since we both love getting wet, that sounded great to us.  The view was great from the front row, but the "get wet" factor was ultimately disappointing.  While we were splashed a few times, we certainly weren't soaked, or even what I'd call wet at the end of the show.

As for other wetlook in Vegas, the nightclub at the Wynn - called XS - is opened up to include the Wynn pool area on Friday and Saturday evenings during warm weather.  There's one area of the pool only a few inches deep where they allow you to take off your shoes and dance in the water.  The bouncers do watch pretty carefully, and if you start splashing too boisterously - or especially if you decide to jump into the main part of the pool - expect to be kicked out and escorted out of the club.  On the other hand, you'll usually see a few people do so on any given evening, and if you enjoy getting wet and wait until you're about ready to leave anyway, can be a great way to end the evening!  (Voice of experience mode!)

As far as I know (correct me if I am wrong) there is no other wetlook to see in Las Vegas apart from those 2 shows I cited. Every other show involving water in Vegas is a "close -- but no cigar".....i.e.

a) There is a nice underwater show you can watch all day for free at the Silverton Casino aquarium....where the girls will swim in the aquarium in mermaid costumes and sometimes in stockings and dresses. But you only see the girls underwater....you can't see them get out of the aquarium, so there

is no chance to see wetlook from out of the water.

b) There is the free Pirate show every day ....called The Pirates of Treasure Island....that is an outdoor show you can watch from the street. But the show is a big tease cos they have all these sexy pirate girls on the boat, but the only people who go in the water are THE GUYS...and the girls remain dry

for the entire show.

c) The Hooters hotel opened a few years ago and promised us Hooters Girls and pool parties....and while they do have pool party nights around the pool....the Hooters girls waitresses do not wear their normal costumes around the pool....and just wear swimsuits.....bummer.

d) There is another night time Cirque show called "Zumanity" you can also go and see...where they have guys and girls performing in a giant waterbowl on stage.....but the outfits suck....cos they are basically wearing what look like "diapers" to me....so that show is no good if you want to see wet clothing either.

Thats all I know. Regardless of Steve Wynn.....those 2 shows in Vegas and the new water show in Macao are all created and owned by Franco Dragone of Cirque dul Soleil.....and the Le Reve show and the show in Macao both allow cameras to be used....but it seems the O show still does not....so it is Dragone who is being inconsistent with this camera rules.

The Le Reve show first opened about 15 years ago....and they used to have ban on cameras....cos 15 years ago there was no such thing as cell phone cameras....but these days every human being has a cellphone in his pocket that is now capable of taking pictures and video....so I guess the Le Reve people decided to change their rules cos these days it is impossible to confiscate every single cell phone in an audience of several thousand people......cos the same thing is also happening at rock concerts now.....i.e. in the old days they used to ban people from taking recording devices to music concerts....but now today they allow everybody to take pics and videos at any concert.....and nobody tries to stop it now....cos 99% of the people going to music concerts all have a cell phone cameras in their pockets. So.....this is one way that technology has changed the world.....i.e.when every human being has the ability to use a technology device....there is no way you can stop people from using that device any more. Before the internet and tech devices existed....many dicatorship countries tried to censor their populations from seeing things or reading things they did not want people to see or read....but thanks to technology.....those countries like Iran and China that try to censor things.....they can't get away with that now....cos their populations all know how to use proxy servers to get around censorship practices etc. So....technology gadgets and the internet have certainly changed the world in the last 20 years. Heck....I remember when I first bought a video camera back in 1979....and I was travelling all over Asia with my camera.....and in several countries I visited....i.e Taiwan, South Korea, Indonesia, Singapore.....they confiscated my camera at the airport....and told me I was not even allowed to bring my camera into the country....so they seized my camera and put it in storage at the airport...and I was only allowed to collect it when I was leaving the country. My....how times have changed today.

Just a minor OT correction, Steve Wynn sold the Bellagio to MGM about 10 years ago...he no longer has anything to do with it, so that's why the two shows have different policies.

Is there any decent public wetlook in Vegas?  There are gobs of pools and pool parties but most girls wear bikinis to those it seems.  What about the big fountains in front of the Paris & the Venetian, have people been known to jump in there to cool off on a hot day?  (I was last there in January so I really can't judge.)

FYI, they have recently changed the rules at one of the two famous wetlook shows in Las Vegas. For the last 10 years there has been a ban on cameras inside those shows, but now one of those shows, the "Le Reve": show at the Wynn resort has now posted on their facebook page that they now encourage people to use their cameras during the show...and the only restriction is...no flash photography. The camera ban is still there (as per their website) at the other show, The "O show" at the Bellagio. This seems odd to me....cos both shows are in resorts owned by the same guy (billionaire Steve Wynn) and both shows are connected with Franco Dragone and his Cirque du Soleil empire. So....why do they now allow cameras at the "Le Reve" show...but not at "The O Show". Perhaps we should check into this....cos it seems illogical that both shows are owned and operated by the same people...yet they have different rules regarding the use of cameras now. Perhaps they will now allow cameras at the O Show too...only they did not update their website yet.

Anyway....here is a new 50 minuite video just posted this week by a fan who recorded the "le reve" show this month under these new camera rules......so you can get a rough idea of what the show is like....i.e. lots of wetlook scenes....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6keene6H5Ww

Unfortunately this guy was seated in a bad spot and he was using a lousy "Fake HD" camera that does not shoot in "True HD" and was one of those cheap pocket cameras that only shoots in a quasi HD format and has no decent optical zoom lens.., so his camera footage is lousy cos it keeps wobbling in and out of focus, and he always zooms in on the wrong things (i.e. the guys....and the people flying in the air)....so he fails to capture the money shots of the wet girls.....so this camera guy is obviously not a wetlook girls fan....cos he seems to be more interested in filming the guys than the girls.

Anyway.....I know several of you live in Vegas or make regular trips to Vegas at times......so if you fancy 2 free tickets plus a dinner to see this show...email me and I will pay for your tickets and dinner if you take along a decent HD camera and can hold it steady and film things in good close up and will share the footage with us. Alternatively, if you do not have a camera....I will buy you a decent HD camera that has a good optical zoom in lieu of the tickets and dinner etc.

Next time one of you is in Vegas.....stop by the Bellagio hotel and ask them what their latest rules are viz taking cameras into the show....cos their sister show "Le Reve" at the Wynn resort now allows cameras.....so the "O Show" should amend their rules too.

ps...for those of you living in Asia and make trips to Hong Kong....there is a similar water show in Macao called "The Housing of Dancing Water" in Macao.....also created by Dragone, that has lots of wetlook scenes too.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2yFpc7Nvjg

I was meaning to stop by Macao next time I visit Asia,,,,cos it has been 25 years since I was last in Macao...and they allow cameras at that show too....so I will film that next time I visit Hong Kong....but if one of you guys living in Asia is passing thru Hong Kong...let me know and I will pay for your ferry ride from  Hong Kong to Macao plus 2 tickets and dinner to see that show too.
