Much of the tv we see today we can see on internet, and its easy if we can recording on the computer and save in avi or something.

With a dvd recorder you save in a special format just för that DVD.

Or go back to old VHS and record on that and with a hardware we can send it to the computer.

Question is, what type of clips you want to save.

If it is Youtube or somethimg like that, you might try the Firefox plugins "NetVideoHunter" or "DownloadHelper", preferrably the first one.

If it is satellite tv, then I recommend a DVB-S receiver with pvr functionality on a usb device in a common video format (eg. Avanit receivers save in .ts format, which can be viewed on your computer).

In Sweden we have VHS-bands before, and i can recordign in to them,

now we have DVD and DVD-recorder, but this is the future and we can

see much on webtv and download.

Something new i find was BSR Screen Recorder, i can recording what i saw

on the screen - and the sound but its bad quality if you not have a good computer.

Any good ideas how i can recording fromo the screen and have high quality of the clips?

I have try FRAPS, maybe something?
