And I suppose you watch wetlook videos for the cinematographic merits of their highly realistic plots? "Bunni has come back from a long night partying, and decides to shower with her clothes and shoes on." Yeah, EVERY woman that I know does THAT!

I'm a sci-fi fan, and as such am prepared to suspend my disbelief when it comes to fanciful future technologies and alien life forms, and I can even overlook the occasional plot hole in story line made plausible with a given amount of suspended disbelief. But there's just too much of a gap to bridge in a movie like this, so I see no point trying. I think the only purpose to the story in a movie like this is to provide some sort of context to the "amazing" visuals: man jumps off boat and into mouth of giant shark; giant shark eats person + sea-doo whole; giant shark eats whole raft of people. Is that more than one shark of different sizes, or are we supposed to overlook errors of scale between the different shots? Affter devouring a raft and its half-dozen occupants, wouldn't the shark (a) have its fill, and (b) have a little trouble with all the indigestibles? Given all this, I wouldn't even attempt to question what the director is thinking when it comes to such details as the womens' shoes.

There's a corny movie called Shark Attack 3 - Megalodon, which has a scene at the end where numerous women jump off a yacht wearing their evening dresses and heels.

I've often wondered what happened to their heels after that, and why the directors made the girls keep their shoes on?

Any ideas?

I'd like thoughts regarding shoes and boots please!

Do wetlook producers have to take measures to ensure that the model's shoes or boots stay on when swimming, or is it just hoped that they on?

Does it often happen that they fall off?

Are any particular types of footwear mush more likely to fall off? I'm guessing high heels without straps, and maybe slingbacks.

Also, has it ever been known that a model's boots have fallen off when swimming? With the weight of the water in them making them heavy I think it is a possibility.
