I swim outdoors while hiking a lot. I guess if I didn't have that option I would try swimming where I'd have a better chance of getting caught but with a nice swimming creek a mile hike from home there's no need to try anything more public. Well, the wife and I jumped into the heated outdoor pool once at a motel in late October... that was so much fun.

That said, I have had many swims in the past that were more in the open. Some were incredibly risky but I always got away with it.

I've been a lone wetlooker for many years, thinking wetlook wasn't "mainstream" enough to do it openly with confidence, but after many years and plenty of beach- and pool- or foam- parties, I reached finally a stage where I can feel self-confident enough not to mind or even enjoy the presence of other people.

There are some exceptions, though: I feel confident only when surrounded by a majority of young, and/or visibly open-minded people. In case contrary, when for instance there are older, particularly male onlookers who usually stare intently and eagerly at everything that may look out of order in their eyes, often to criticize or worse to denounce it, then I don't feel like making a one-man show in front of them.

Unfortunately, in many places of Southern Europe, culture and demography combined have the not so pleasant effect to provide you with a public made for 3/4 of elderly males. Even so, in the course of my summer wet-actions, all in all I have gathered some questions out of curiosity from puzzled onlookers, many smiles, and eventually some interesting conversations with the most open-minded and younger public. No-one has dared saying anything against it.

And i was almost always the only one swimming in clothes.

The more of us will turn their lone activities into public wetlook actions, the easier will be for all of us and for the many more who would mildly like to join us but haven't have the guts yet.

I do this all the time, usually when people are around. Who cares? "Those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." People who have an issue with this really need to wake up to all the real problems in the world. Lots of people do silly things that are totally harmless. Life is too short to not enjoy yourself with whatever makes you happy. As long as it doesn't hurt someone else, and this includes public display of sexuality, then all is good. Wet clothes is not a public display of sexuality unless you walk around with an erection. If you're alone then go ahead, but don't act creepy about it cause there's no need to feel that way. If you're with other people have fun with it. You should get your wife to push you in the hotel pool :)

All right, I have to know how many people actually do this? I am a regular happily married guy with kids and a good job. I travel for businesss every two months or so. When away, I will usually go to the motel pool later at night with jeans and a t-shirt on for a swim. I always wait until there is nobody around, but I have done this so many times that it doesn't phase me if somebody shows up an " busts" me. I just get out and leave. My wife knows about my fetish and although we shower fully clothed together, she is very uncomfortable in swimming clothed in public. She seemed a little weirded out when she found out that I do this alone at motel pools. but after we talked about it, she said that as long as I wasn't doing it with another woman, she was ok with it. Does anyone else have similar experiences?
