July 28 and 29 is this year's annual California extreme classic arcade game convention in Santa Clara Ca at the Hyatt Regency hotel and convention center (across the street from California's Great America amusement park. $60 for 2 days admission. Over 400 arcade video games and pinball machines all set on free play. It is the annual meeting of the Dragon's Lair Project website www.d-l-p.com and yours truly, Desert Hawk, will be there. My friend from Las vegas will be there, as will most others from Dragon's Lair Project. Play lots of classic video games from decades past. Play classic pinball machines including the old electromechanical ones. Meet interesting people like myself and my froend from Vegas! Watch classic music videos from the 80s and early 90s on the video jukebox. Eat some overpriced food and drink some overpriced beer at the hotel's restaurant and bar, or hike 1/2 mile to Taco Bell for a cheaper dining option! Swim fully clothed in the hotel's pool and hot tub! Lots fo fun things to do! I will be the really fat man wearing shorts and a polo shirt. My name tag will read Desert Hawk.
