I noticed this woman who was dressed in white trousers and a white top paddling in the shallows of the sea with her children. She was watching her husband who was deeper in the sea and playing on a float board and determined not to get her clothes wet, she rolled up the hem of her trousers so to walk deeper in to the sea. It was much the case of her having to run in and out of the sea and retreat as a wave came in so she didn’t get her trousers wet. Inevitably, some of the waves did catch her trousers and make them wet at the bottoms. To my entertainment she slowly ventured further out trying to hold her trousers up and out of the way of the water. Her little boy in a wetsuit was getting out further to join his dad and mum dutifully walked further into the sea.  It was obvious that at some point she abandoned the idea of staying dry and walked out progressively into the sea getting her clothes increasingly wet.

Eventually she was completely soaked and walked headlong into to the waves. Amazingly her white trousers went see-thrugh showing her patterned underwear and her bra showed through the white top. She turned round and I was still busily clicking away. (Unfortunately, my 300mm lens doesn’t have image stabilising so the pictures weren’t as sharp as I would have liked) I wanted to keep it candid so she had no idea I was photographing her.,

Eventually, the family made their way out of the sea and so I had to stop shooting but I was treated to an absolutely fabulous view of this woman walking fully clothed out of the sea with her white clothes soaked and see thru.
