Yes Brian....how poignant...seeing as Buddy Ebsen just passed away last month too.
When I was a schoolboy in the 1960's, the words we knew to that song went like this..
"Now here's a little story bout a man name Jed Wanna have a shit so he went behind a shed Saw Ellie May a-standing in the nude.. ,..and up from his dick came a bubblin' crude"..
..and 40 years later...folks are still having fun screwing around with the words to that tune.
...and while I am at it...another old tv joke from my 1960's schoolboy days....
Q:...what does Bruce Wayne's mother yell when it's time to eat..
A: Dinner, Dinner, Dinner, Dinner, Dinner, Dinner, Dinner, Dinner, ......BATMAN !!!!
We use to sing that in the school playgound too.
