Why are the sg clips compressed? I have a hard time playing these clips. I am not having windows and the dd clips are never a problem and can all be played by vlc. But for the sg clips this is different. It is some some kind of protected wmv. Why?

Why is everybody using wmv? Why not use a format that is more friendly for not windows users?
