Jessica, have you tried stretch jeans? They are sometimes softer. Also, stretch linen has a nice feel - and look when it gets wet. Transparent as well. :)

Some jeans are too rough. These ones are old, they are very soft and I guess softened by wearing. They felt nice. My red capri pants felt much better to get wet because this material was softer.
