I didn't know that tiger's claws are completely retracted when they swim, but I guess I never tried swimming with tigers. Either way, I'd go in with my clothes!
Since the circus topic was brought up, I know that animals can't stand the smell of alcohol, so there were cases when large cats would tear up their trainers who would show up drunk.

In reply to Message (53899) Are there times when it is safer to swim clothed? ex. swim with tame tigers
By Jessica - friends@fantasystockings.com Wed 04/04/12 04:32:16 GMT Website: http://fantasywetlook.com// www.fantasywetlook.com I found an article (and a photo) that says that female trainers in South Carolina swim with the tigers in the pool. On the photo these women are wearing ONLY small bikini swimsuits. Are they out of their mind not to swim fully clothed?
I love animals, but I would be afraid to get scratched by the claws. I would for sure prefer to have some protective clothing in the pool to avoid stratches for practical reasons and of course because I also happen to be a wetlook fan.
I wrote an article about it on my blog and 3 other young women who are into wetlook (you know who they are, I bet) gave their opinion on what they would wear for such a swim.
