The thing with posting my pictures to Ray and Julies for is, do I host the pictures on their server or are the pictures there back linked to another location? The quantity of pictures I have to post is enormous. I will have posted roughly over 300 pictures to the UMD servers by the end of the week. Can Ray and Julie's servers cope with that, what about the bandwidth? I am waiting for Messmaster to tell me off about the quantity of pictures I have posted this week to the UMD. leonmoomin |

 I'm not upset with UMD I was upset at some of the posters there not with the UMD itself I love umd it keeps me updated on alot of sites I go to! I just simply said I'm not posting there anymore And the NTL thing just added to it because of everyone not being able to access them That's why I asked Leon to consider posting on Ray and Julie's forum b/c I know everybody can access it So nothing personal against UMD

I know it has to be very frustrating for those in the UK with NTL who can't access. With all due respect though, WIR, its highly doubtful that this has much to do with the UMD. When it can obviously be successfully accessed from all over the world via the internet, but can't be accessed at all via NTL, its a fairly simple deduction that the fault lies squarely with NTL, and not at all with UMD or its hosting company. We may or may not like the latest UMD website layout, but don't blame them for this problem, and don't forget UMD has been a very significant resource to this community for a long time. -FF- |

This is real purgatory, Leon, for us poor unfortunates who use NTL for their broadband connection. As discussed previously on this forum, we can't get into umd at all. Really frustrating, as the feedback so far is so positive. Will they be posted anywhere else (where us ntl people can access them)? |
