You can see that wool doesn't take water right away even when submerged.

I've heard about this property of wool, it is in a way water-resistant, so that's why in the old days a lot of cloaks (or capes, not sure of what the proper word is here) would be made of wool. A cloak could also be hung over a structure to create a waterproof roof in case of rain.

Just uploaded this to Youtube (hidden link), still uploading one more segment. I filmed this myself, so that's why it's shaky and doesn't show the face.

These are leather boots, leather gloves, white wool leggings with black patterned pantyhose under (I was hoping that black pattern would show up, but didn't happen), and also a pink business suit top. Wow, that was fun!
