There is no wetlook in Budapest either, but I have hope. There are some new fountains and when the security guards had enough of chasing people away from there somebody will finally get in. Hungarians seem very reserved for me, the only people I saw getting wet clothed this year were German tourists, both on the Sziget Festival and at Lake Balaton. |

By Mike - Sat 09/08/03 08:57:47 GMT I have now idea! It is quite strange. But don't worry. I was thinking the same. So much wetlook in Germany, France and the UK, and none here in Warsaw. Then in the last few years it started. And now in Warsaw's biggest fountain in the ever popular Pole Mokotowskie park you can see girls wet even in temperatures such as 22 degrees and 30 changes the place to WL heaven. And in Gdynia on the polish coast 20 is enough for great action, so maybe going to the seaside would also help in America?

By Europe and North America - Sat 09/08/03 07:10:02 GMT You hear all the news abou the heatwave in Europe. Here in Western Canada, we have had about the same temperatures ( 80+ degrees for weeks)
Here- no wetlook . It can be close to 40c and girls would rather risk heat exhaustion than to go cool off with regular clothes! The same old same old BS " oh i didn't bring my bathing suit " bla bla bla bla bla... Absolutely pathetic i might add!
People here need to be more open minded. Makes me want to hop on a plane to London ASAP! Wetlook in Europe is so abundant.
Why do you think there is such a contrast between good' ol Europe and us uptight people here?
