It was cool watching the rainstorm from the restaurant window during dinner until it was time to walk through flooded streets to get back to my car especially in my expensive Stuart Weitzman pumps. It wasn't too bad at first, just a few splashes of water on my feet but when I had to step off a curb onto a flooded street, the water was up to my ankles and immediately filled my shoes.
