I think this concept of capturing people only in "mid air" reminds me of the similar concept with all those Dirndlflugtag events in Austria and Germany, and all those Red Bull events where people in fancy dress costumes jump off high platforms into the water....i.e.
....all we ever get to see on tv or youtube clips are people in mid air...but never any wetlook shots of people emerging from the water etc....
So....the strategy for these kinds of events is....we have to be there ourselves and bring our own cameas, cos the people who take pics at these events or the clips they show on tv news are never going to capture the wetlook moments.....they only capture the mid air moments.
I know that Sopping feels the same way too....i.e. there are some events we have to send our own wetlook photographers or cameramen to attend....cos they never show us the wetlook moments on tv clips or photos.

By WC - wetcasual@live.com Mon 29/08/11 06:55:16 GMT Anyone else see the Today Show's clip on the new fad called leisure diving? Had quite a few people jumping in fully clothed in different poses including two of the reporters reporting on the new craze. Was pretty exciting to watch and hopefully it sticks around for at least a few months!!! I think it's much better than planking!!! They gave a plug to http://www.leisuredive.com where the photos are being posted by folks. |
