Its a difficult one. Very difficult.
I'm not religions in the slightest, so the concept is alien to me.
(I'm not saying its wrong, just not a culture I take part in - I understand and fully accept others rights of others to do what they want)
However, as alien as water baptisms are to me (and probably others here), we musn't forget that the subject matter of this forum, will be alien to outsiders.
I have a flickr account, and often favorite wetlook photos. However, I find myself refraining on any water baptism photos, so's to not offend those involved, their views or religious beliefs.
Another point worth raising is a lot of these baptism galleries contain a lot of photos of children being baptised.
Although completely innocent photos and none of them indecent, I have to stop and think that you have to be careful what you link to on here. Given some of the nsfw content on this forum (and I'm not saying that any of it is necessarily bad), mixing these links in amongst them falls in a very grey area. :(
I don't know, there seems to have been a bit of hysteria that has blown up in recent years, and it just makes you aware of what you look at (and no matter how innocently) how it may be perceived by others.
