The Mediaeval Baebes visited the US in the summer of 1999. Anyone in Central Park on one day during their trip would have been treated to the following alluring spectacle:

"During that trip to the USA the Bæbes did a photo session in Central Park in the rain wearing very glamorous long fantasy dresses – a dreamlike experience, of which Carrie would have approved"

How nice it would be to track down those photos (which aren't on their website sadly).

Another nice mental image comes from a story from the early days of the group in 1996:

"The most memorable of these early get-togethers was late one summers evening at the Witches circle on Hampstead Heath. The group chanted and sang and banged some drums until a thunderstorm broke and everyone got drenched"

I was lucky enough to see them sing live on Saturday, and they really are superb singers and musicians, as well as utterly gorgeous!

If only they would have lingered a bit on the woman in the black dress as she was emerging from the tub all soaked. I'm d/l the video named "underwater" thought it would have something just by the title

It's 70mg file so I'll let u know if it's worth keeping or not

Just to (rather sadly) answer my own post, I've just done another Google search and found a 41mb mpeg file of the video at the above link. I hope anyone who downloads it enjoys it.

I have a very small and poor quality Quicktime movie file of the promo video for the Delerium single Aria (released at the end of 2000). The video features the Mediaeval Baebes, one of whom spends a fair amount of the video lying in a bath-tub full of water, wearing a long-sleeved black dress. The quality of the video is so poor that I can't tell exactly, but it appears that she gets out of the bath at one point, and wanders around in her wet dress.

Has anyone come across this video in a different, better quality file format?

I can assure you that the Mediaeval Baebes would definitely be worth seeing wet, and are worth keeping an eye on because they're definitely wacky enough to do it. See the pic of them via the link, and I'm sure you'll agree!
