as u don't know how much of an act of congress it is just to find everything u had b4

Thank god for cd burners as my entire hd is backed up on 48 full cd's. I'm not worried now if I have to reformat the hd

!!!!BACK UP YOUR HARD DISK!!!!

I powered up my computer today and I could hear one of my fans playing up so I'd thought I'd change it. Simple enough job, changed the fan powered back up and---- no secondary hard disk??? checked connections all ok??? strange?? pissed around for about and hour, transfering the hard disk into various computers and still no joy. This drive is my storage drive and is almost full and at 120Gig theres allot of info on it including just over 22gig of wetlook pictures and videos collected over the last 7 years!! AAGGGGHHHH.

But luckly after pissing around a bit more I plugged it into my raid controller which was able to read the drive, so at the mo I'm burnig it all out onto DVD's just in case the drive doesn't start up next time!
