Sorry for the problems with the forum, a hard drive on the server got corrupted.

The fault showed up as the ASP server falling over first, then half an hour after a reboot, the thing died completely, and wouldn't

reboot, so a new disk was obtained and installed.

We had to restore everything... there are over 200M bytes of images for wetlook.com on there, plus over 18,000 messages from the forum, plus half a dozen other websites... so it took a while!

The websites needed restoring first, as I wanted to try and recover the latest messages (the last backup was over a week ago). I managed to get them off the old disk, they have just been backed up, and then reloaded to the server.

Out of interest, in the last month, the server shot out 320 GBytes of data (about 10G per day) ( mostly wetlook.com and forum

stuff ).
