A lovely, intelligent, and good-hearted person is attacked, shot - nearly killed. Yet so many of us are spending our energy on puerile discussions about firearms and gun control. Yes, I have strong opinions on the matter, but I'm keeping them to myself. Instead, my thoughts and prayers are with Gabrielle Giffords and her family, along with my deepest hope for a thorough and speedy recovery.

can any american citicen tell me,why everybody has a rifle in America?

ammonition has to be banned from all over the planet-then the rifles are better melted down as well
