The founding fathers of America decided that it should be a right of the people to keep and bear arms to prevent a tyrannical government from acting with impunity.

Those who support this "2nd amendment right" can provide many more examples than I can.

Switzerland is another good example of a country that has an extensively armed citizenry.

Of course, there are *some* people (those who are mentally unstable, primarily) who should not be allowed to have access to firearms.

And thus, instances like you have referenced occur, but only in this case, it was an "important" person, criminals shoot & kill each other on a regular basis in America.

ammonition has to be banned from all over the planet-then the rifles are better melted down as well
