I just saw a bit of an old "Bewitched" episode. Must have been one of the oldest because it was colorized (I think only the 1st season was shot in b&w).

Anyway... there was the lovely Elizabeth Montgomery wearing a very nice dress and medium-height spiked heels, while "hubby" was wearing a fairly casual cardigan over shirt&slacks... presumably meant to be a weekend setting.

So... for one thing, it's obvious that women don't dress like this anymore (sad thing for some of us wetlook afficionados), perhaps(?) a slight distortion of reality that she was wearing heels around the house. My other point is that her whole outfit would have made for glorious wetlook - to my eyes.

Of course, in those days, Elizabeth Montgomery was gorgeous no matter what the outfit. By today's standards, she'd probably be considered too heavy, but to my eyes, a great figure.

Just a bit of rambling for a Saturday afternoon...
