Forget these frogs in France that can not even identify themselves. What can these introverts be? Remember they were defeated at Quebec, Trafalgar, in Mexico, in 1871 at Sedan, in 1940 and at Dein Bien Phu. They need to forget this baptism stuff since it is quite juvenile. Ten ton tilly wet I do not need. Carry on please.

I can't say that I am frequently inspired by a crappy late '70s/ early 80s TV series. But an the episode of "BJ and the Bear" in which a stranded Judy Landers soaks her shirt from a canteen in order to hitch a ride was an inspiration for me. The thought that an ordinary day might turn sublime through a chance sighting such as this has stuck with me for 30 years.
