Hmm.... I know several forums have a system where you have to wait a certain amount of time between making posts (I think it is 30 secs) from the same IP, no matter if the content is the same or not.

I've been working on the CPTCHA system for the past couple of hours, hopefully up soon. This will slow him down. Unfortunately, a Login system will be hard to administer at first, as we've over 1000 visitors, obviously not all will register. The system I had been working on would allow non-Registered posting, except during a 'lockdown' when only registered posting was allowed... but there is a lot of coding to add to implement the logins etc.

I'll also be working on code to spot repetead postings, but again, he will/could just work around this, he's only got to type another letter into the message to make it different. I'll also work on various time and posting limits ...

Can we put a captcha system in place for the short term, until we can make a better system?

Perhaps there's a way to get the forum to recognise a duplicate posting?

He has no-life, most people would have got bored of this ages ago, but, here he is, with obviously nothing better to do!

So we can't get him to quit his childish behavior, so perhaps there are way to prevent his multiple postings.

At the moment, he seems to be using multiple tabs or windows to make the posts, but it is still done by multiple posts.

I do think we now need to go down the password and username road.
