I've heard that about fashion models. It really seems like they hate their job, hate what they are wearing and just hate being there. I understand the theory of why they are told to look like that but for me it has the opposite effect. I'd much rather buy something from someone who enjoys what they are doing.

You could ask the same question about runway fashion models too.....i.e. why do they always look miserable and stony faced, and not look they they are enjoying things at all.....

....and the answer to that is...fashion designers teach the models to be that way...because they want the audience to focus on "the clothes" and not on "the girl"...so they want the models to be stone faced and looking miserable so that people notice the clothes...and not the personality of the model.

But you are right about Japanese wet and messy videos in general....i.e. they are a lot more focused towards "domination and degradation" than wam videos are in the western world...and they generally lack the "fun" ingredient that European and American wam producers inject into their productions.

Maybe it's the European and American models are have been said to smile and to look happy. Maybe the Japanese models are just more fair with us...

I've noticed this too. Is it possible that's they're actually "acting" to look distressed to give a more dramatic effect?

It bothers me that most of the japanese wetlook and porn I view is filled with women who look like they have been forced into such positions and are under a fair amount of distress.. I think japanese women are very pretty but when i have to watch them wincing throughout the videos it does ruin it for me..

Anyone know what's up..?
