He is really right, and the United States is not wholly a democracy, because for all of you who know

Now they may be pledging the flag but is under America.....so remember we are not as free as our forefathers were

once in this Nation some 150 years or so back..(maybe not even that long ago)....WK

I am not a U.S. citizen....just a Brit who lives in America.....but I know history and civics....and thats a common error that even most American college students make....i.e. the USA is not a democracy at all...it is actually a Republic.

Here endeth the civics lesson for today.

The subject line baffles me. How can one not judge a country by it's government if said country is a democracy? Didn't the people put the government in power?

Here we go again... I KNEW better than to try Paypal once more but they have locked my account again... Oh well...
