But here is the irony of all ironies....check the Wikipedia article about the production company who make this show. This show is made by the same production company that makes the WIPEOUT TV series (which is also edited in lousy way and never shows decent wetlook either....although they do do a better job at pleasing the mud fans...cos the mud scenes on Wipeout are pretty good). Anyway....I did not know this until I read this Wiki article....i.e. all those WIPEOUT shows we see from the USA, UK, Greece, Spain and other countries....none of them are shot in those countries, and ALL of the Wipeout shows, are shot at Endemol's production facility in ARGENTINA.....as is the 101 Ways to Avoid Wetlook show too....so..,.both series are not shot in the UK or USA...but down in Argentina instead.....and....WHY IS THAT....

Well...apparently...Endemol have been BANNED in Europe...due to safey concerns....and both shows are not allowed to be filmed in Europe....because of safety reasons. So...they haul all these UK contestants over to Argentina....where filmings take place on both shows at a disused airfield facilty in Argentina instead.

So...if they shoot the Wipeout and 101 Ways to Avoid Wetlook shows down in Argentina...in order to circumvent UK and European safetly regulations....then why the heck do they ruin both shows by having the contestants wearing those lousy lifejackets then....cos if you shoot the show down in lawless Argentina in order to avoid European safetly regulations....then fine...dispense with the crash helmets and ugly lifejackets too.....

Heck....instead of travelling to Argentina to film these shows in a lousy way.....they should have gone to mainland china, Hunan province....where the chinese do their version of WIPEOUT...cos all the contestants on Chinese WIPEOUT wear nice clothes and NO CRASH HELMETS and lifejackets etc.

ps...more bad news....the ABC network in the USA....who currently show the Wipeout show....have also picked up this "101 Ways" show for a u.s. version too....so I am sure that will be edited in the same lousy way too....cos all these shows are shot at the same location in Argentina and using the same post production company Endomol....so you can count on more wetlook avoidance when the U..S. version of this show debuts on ABC later this year too.
