These are not from the newest one that came out last month in theaters. This is from the 2nd one which is out on dvd now. It's on the 2 disk one and not on the single disk. |

By MK - wamtec@comcast.net Sun 11/07/10 21:31:00 GMT ...as you can see from this pic....it's a green screen mapping that they were doing....

...i.e. from the scene in Twilight Eclipse....which was supposed in a cold lake where you see ice and snow....i.e. you don't really think that these A list stars are actually going to work in a "real" icy cold lake with snow around it.....so what they do is shoot those water scenes in a HEATED pool at a film studio..with a green screen behind them....so then they can create digital backgrounds and create CGI backgrounds for the ice and now.
Thats one of my beefs with many films these days....too much CGI fakery and not real locations.....i.e. have you seen the sci fi series "Sanctuary" ...almost nothing in that series uses real backgrounds and locations....the entire series is shot inside one of the biggest green screen studios in Canada. Same goes for the series "Caprica"....nothing is real...it is all CGI computer generated backgrounds.
Anyway....as I already reported...if those stills are green screen shots from the lake scene on Twilight Eclipes....then none of those shots you see of Kristen appear in the final cut of the film....all you see is basically the same 4 seconds of shots that you see in the official trailer for the film.
As somebody else mentioned....while the film shows us nothing...perhaps when they release the DVD they will include some DVD extras that show you these behind the scenes green screen shots....which reminds me.,...
....there is a great wetlook scene as a DVD extra if you get the DVD of the Leonardo Dr Caprio/Claire Danes version of ROMEO AND JULIET.In the actual film there is a pretty decent wetlook pool scene....but on the DVD there is a much better "the making of" documentary...where they show you how they made additional shots for that pool scene...i.e. they used a large glass water tank (about double the size of the ones used on CIAO DARWIN)...and they actually shot most of the close up scenes in that water tank...not in the pool you see in the film version. In the DVD extras...they show you Claire and Leonardo together in the water tank as they were shooting those scenes in a studio tank.....so hopefully you may see those Kristen Stewart wet shots when they release the dvd version...cos it is not in the theatrical version.
