What was amazing was how negative the tv news reporters were in the USA.....complaining and making fun at how boring Football is....cos only 1 goal was scored....so they were complaining about the lack of goals and how boring Football is to them (which they call Soccer).

American audiences just don't get it.....I guess they would prefer the game if we made it like Basketball.....i.e. had no goalkeeper at all...just defenders around the scoring area.....and then you would get a game with scores like Basketball....i.e. 95 to 91....ha ha

The real reason American's audiences and tv networks hate football....is that they prefer a game like American Football....i.e. the game lasts for 4hrs....which consists of 3.5 hrs of commercials and stoppages.......which are sometime interrupted by some occassional football action....ha ha

Some tv commentators in the USA were mocking the World Cup and saying that it was even more boring than CURLING was at recent Olympics (and don't say that...or you will upset the Canadians).

All I can say to the American tv commentators is....if you want to see something boring....watch the Korean tv channel I saw on satellite tv  yesterday....which had a 2hr show on 2 guys making a jigsaw puzzle.....ha ha
