They just started the new season of the American version of Wipeout this week......and it is totally the same as before....i.e. the same old scenes that have been done over and over and over for the prior seasons. I don't get what it is about "monotony" that the producers of this show seem to like....cos what is the point of repeating the exact same games over and over, with the exact same no-name contestants, wearing the exact same t shirts, shorts, life jackets and helmets.....it is sheer monotony to do the same thing over and over for every game and every season etc.

Now....they should take a lesson from the Italians....who invented the CIAO DARWIN gameshow.....cos while the games may be the same each week.....things are DIFFERENT every week....due to the "themes" and "costumes" being changed every week....i.e every show has a different theme for the contestants....i.e.

- blondes versus brunettes

- nurses v schoolgirls

- dancers v office girls

etc etc

The definition of "insanity"....is repeating the same thing over and over.....and hoping for a different outcome.....so I guess the producers of the Wipeout show must be insane.

Wipeout is not something that anybody needs to watch on tv.....cos it is about as interesting as watching England play football (sorry ...but they deserve that jab....for wasting my time watching them play so poorly in the World Cup so far).

Wipeout should be taken off tv and installed where it belongs.....as a theme park game at Disneyland or Thorpe Park in the UK.....for visitors at theme parks to play....and to stick their mother in law on....just for a laugh.

Third series, not worth watching really unless you're a fan of shorts and Tshirts.

I saw a trailer for it today, A new saturday night gameshow where the contestants are dropped and pushed into pools of water, Although they are wearing life jackets they looked fully clothed to me
