In the thumbnail view, right-click on any of the pictures and select "Properties".

Copy and paste its URL (starting with "http://thumb..." and ending with "..._th.jpg") into your browser's adress bar.

Replace the "_th" in the above URL with "_fs" and hit Enter - et voilá, there you go. Now you just need to save it.

If this doesn't work, it means the pictures has not been uploaded in high resolution. In this case you can get a smaller but stil saveable version by using "_ph" instead of "_fs".

I find the easiest way is to use AdBlock in Firefox. Open the image full size, and then open AdBlock -- you can then middle-click the JPEG URL to open that in a new tab, and save it. A little tedious but it works well enough.

AdBlock is useful for a lot more than blocking ads (in fact, I don't even use it to block ads unless they cause actual problems, such as the Geocities ads that interfered with middle-click for open link in new tab, forcing the same page to open in both tabs).

I also use it to save YouTube videos although Flash Video Downloader (I think it was called that) reportedly works again, although to little real benefit as it still fails to name the FLV after the clip title the way it once did.
