In case people do not know the history of Paypal, this company was initially a great company that did not practise discrimination against adult oriented website, but sadly all that changed 5 years ago when the Paypal company was sold and taken over by Ebay and their board of Directors. In case you don't know, Ebay is a company run by mormons, and was headed by a mormon, Meg Whitman, and her mormon board of directors, and when they took over Paypal they openly stated that their mission was to "clear the smut off of their system", so thats when most of us got our Paypal facilities shut down.

FYI, Meg Whitman became the richest woman CEO in America, thanks to Ebay and Paypal, and with her wealth last year she decided to step down as CEO and went in politics, and currently she is running for Governor of California.

Of course, she has a lot of political enemies on the left, who are throwing pointed questions at her.....

But I think they missed the most obvious question that I would like to ask her.....which is to point out the hypocrisy of her company's crusade againsts adult sites.....which is....

Answer: The Swiss/German company Rapidshare.com - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RapidShare - which has over 10 petabytes of files online, of which about 70% of those files are PORN, making them the largest repositary of porn files on the planet, so

Question: How come Paypal has provided continuous service to the largest porn site on the planet, and still allows them to use their system today....

I have no problems with a mormon run company that wishes to impose it's view on morality and what they deem to be "smut" etc.....just be CONSISTENT and apply those same rules to everybody, and not give Rapidshare a free pass to use your system....just because they line your pockets cos they do about 6 million dollars per month in transactions and bring in a lot of revenue -- so I guess it means that the rules only apply to small business owners, and the major abusers of Paypal get a free pass from those rules.

I can understand that now Meg Whitman is running for Governor she probably wants to "clean all the skeletons out of her closet" (i.e. her past as a CEO of a major financial services provider to hundreds of thousands of porn sites) ... but she is forgetting that the biggest skeleton in her closet is still there...and it is called Rapidshare.

Its impossible to offer PayPal payments when PayPal have closed your account. Despite best efforts, PayPal find and close any account that appears to be in use for 'adult' products. Over the years, Styx has opened three different PayPal accounts and they've all be closed and funds frozen for months. Under pressure for a customer, a private PayPal account was used to accept one order. PayPal promptly closed that too, causing a lot of knock-on problems for that individual. So, much as you would like to buy adult material with it, PayPal think differently - and they just close the accounts. Anyone with one and selling adult material is on borrowed time, because it can be closed (and funds frozen) without warning.

After 4 years, Paypal decided that they don't like our cute girls. And they killed our account.

We had to delete all Paypal buttons and now we switched to Alertpay and we hope that it'll work.
