No MPEG is the only Open Standard : DIVx can't be played if you haven't the right plugin and some of these plugin are only available for PC.
PC w/ M$-windows is not the only computer plateform around the world !

Definitely Divx.
It offers the best quality, and can be converted to VCD once it's been downloaded. |
