Wonder if it's some kind of add-on. Martin, what happens if you start Firefox in Safe Mode (Start > (All )Programs > Mozilla Firefox > Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode)) or with a clean profile (close Firefox and drag your profile to the desktop for a minute, it's a folder called %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\something.default).
I know what Firefox is doing, but I'm not sure what's triggering it and why, and with lots of add-ons and other tweaks it's possible to trigger undesirable behaviour.
What I'm not sure about is whether + is always encoded as %2B even in browsers that encode space as %20. If so, then it would be safe to always convert + to space.
Also, why is the name field is treated differently to other fields? Not sure if that's a Firefox problem, or a problem with the new C code calling the wrong function to decode, analagous to PHP's urldecode() and rawurldecode(), the former uses + for space, the latter, %2B. |

Let's see what happens. |
