We have done a test development of a special wetlook picture search engine. Actually our crawler has detected 14000 free wetlook pictures, all professional source, no candid material. Those pictures would be available via link lists, based on search criteria’s and picture thumbnails, exact like the Google picture search engine works.

I would like to know if people would be interested, getting this Wetlook Crawler online and what the producers think about it. Plaese give me a feedback.

Here some important facts about the project:

Wetlook Crawler would be free for everyone, no charge for users and no charge for producers.

Wetlool Crawler is 100% legal. We only link to free pictures and we do not take any copy of pictures. We don’t include pictures in our web content (exact like Google picture search).

Each picture is combined with the producer name and web address and the web site where it has been crawled. Producers web site is always been shown parallel to the picture link (exact like Google picture search).

Each picture can include tags, comments and it can be voted by any user.

The search engine can find each tag, producer and web address and the combination of all of this. For example: “jeans wetlook art pool” would find all free jeans pictures of WetlookArt with has been shoot at a pool.

The “What’s new” function would give you an overview of new free pictures, sorted by producers and web sites. This function works full automatically, it would be the most up to date overview of new wetlook pictures of the net.

Producers can support Wetlook Crawler, by giving, tags, comments and updates if they like to do this. A VIP account would be available. Producers don’t need to support it, if they don’t like. All major functions work full automatically.

The Wetlook Crawler can only work, as long as the users support the producers. We give you the producers web site to each pictures and we are in hope, that you would book or buy sometimes a membership or picture set of your famous producers. That’s the only way it can work, because the free pictures has all been shoot by the producers. They give it to you for free, not the Wetlook Crawler does this!

It is difficult to calculate the bandwidth and server power that is needed. If this gets to hard for a free web site and no producer likes to support us, it can be that the project needs to be closed. This is an open point.
