You managed to turn around my words! :-) What I actually said:

I was incapable of even getting turned on about anything other than fully clothed wetlook...my signature used to be "nudity sucks"!

The psychology (at least in my case, and according to psychologists): the more you get turned on by something, the more in-grained it becomes. If you like sex and wetlook and you overload on wetlook then perhaps overloading works, but if you only like wetlook, overloading will just make you hunt out better and more satisfying wetlook, hence the hours you spent in a library are now hours spent stood on a beach with a camera or going through thousands of Youtube videos. Not wishing to do anyone down, but if I became a fetish producer, I would hardly have reduced wetlook's impact on my life! ;-) Also, you've said a bunch of times how you'd be driving a Rolls Royce if you were a mainstream pornographer.... ;-)

I've grown up in the digital age, I've had access to everything the web has to offer since puberty and all it's done is stop me from developing normal sexual tastes - I could always find more wetlook to look at and never had to bother with anything else. So much of sexuality is due to repetition, which is why CBT therapy can help you reverse that, it just takes a long time and a lot of effort to reverse the effect of 10+ years of something else. I used no drugs or hypnotism, just hard work and CBT therapy.

There are far cheaper ways to be cured of this addiction, and most of them are totally free, and come courtesy of the mainstream world....i.e., wetlook used to be very exciting when it was a "rare" thing to see, but whenever something becomes "common" then you lose all your interest in it. I am 99% certain that if I lived in a parallel universe where things were the opposite to this world, and where every single person in the entire world always swam and bathed in clothes, then I would definitely NOT be interested in wet clothing, and would surely develop an interest in naked women instead.

Wetlook was definitely more exciting in the 1970's and 80's than it is today, cos today the mainstream world have flooded us with a plethora of too much wetlook media. I remember spending countless hours in the public libraries in the 60's and 70's....thumbing thru books and old National Geographic magazines...just trying to find 1-2 pics of wetlook, and countless wasted hours in bookstores in London too. In the age before the internet existed, wetlook was as exciting to hunt for, as Indiana Jones looking for the lost Ark. But today, since the advent of the internet, and especially such entities at Youtube and Flickr, nothing is rare or exciting any more...it is all too common and mundane now.

The free therapy and "the cure" is right there every day...it is called Youtube and Flickr....cos the more you watch, the more mundane and boring the entire subject of wetlook becomes.

And then you have entire subject wetlook subject matters that used to be very rare and exciting to see....i.e. wet and messy brides and weddings....that have been "hijacked" by the mainstream now...and turned into a totally boring and staged concept called "Trash the Dress"....which succeeds in turning a subject that used to be great, into something that is now incredibly dull and boring.

If you really want a "cure" for wetlook though....just become a wetlook PRODUCER and start shooting models in wetlook scenes, cos the first 100 scenes you shoot might be fun, but once you have shot 500+ scenes then you become totally "de-sensitized" to wetlook.....i.e. it's like an alcoholic being locked inside a brewery for 10 years...or a sex addict being locked inside a whorehouse for 10 years......i.e. the first few months might be fun....but pretty soon you will become de-sensitized and totally cured of your interests.

Then this is not a "fetish" for you then....and is merely an "hobby".

Cos the dictionary definition of a fetishist...is somebody who worships a subject matter, and is unable to achieve orgasm unless he/she is indulging in that subject matter, so a fetishist is unable to have normal sex without wetlook being involved. If you are able to have normal sex with no wetlook elements involved, then you are not a fetishist....just a hobbyist.

When I've got time, I plan to write in full about my experience with wetlook and getting therapy to make me "normal". I've been into wetlook as long as I can remember, and through an unfortunate series of events (including being on this forum since the age of 12), I ended up disliking sex/nudity, making a relationship all but impossible. I've spent thousands on therapy and it's been a long, hard, emotional journey but I'm starting to come out the other side - it is possible. In my opinion, a fetish like this is akin to a drug addiction - it takes over your life and ruins your relationships. I don't want to put producers out of business (and I'm sure I won't) because I've had a lot of enjoyment from wetlook, but in the end, it's not a positive in my life because of the depth of the fetish and the problems that causes. I'm aiming to get to the stage where I like wetlook, but I'm also very happy with just nudity and normal sex, which is far more convenient and doesn't restrict your choice in partners and frees up all that time you'd otherwise spend stood on beaches or scouring the internet.

wetlook - blessing or curse ?

Yesterday I came home a little earlier than my girlfriend. So I decided to go to the lake I used to go before I knew her. Just when I arrived I saw two persons standing on the little island and they were definitively clothed. As I walked on I saw them swimming back to the little shore. It was two girls and they stepped out right infront of me. One wore khaki (a bit see through) pants and a blue shirt and the other one wore skin tight jeans and a red shirt.

It was so exciting! But I feel a bit depressed as I obviously have this desire to whatch random girls swimming clothed. There is still this deamon in my mind and I would like so much to get rid of it.

I avoid going to a beach with my girlfriend, because I fear that I might spot wetlook. I wonder if I was able to keep my eyes off. I don't know, so I better dont't go.

When I was a single, wetlook was my blessing - now it became my curse.

On the other hand, I want to live a normal life. With a wife and a family. And not spending my time any longer waiting for spotting random wetlook and hang out at the lake like a perverted weirdo.
