The best still photo of this scene is one that you never saw in the movie...i.e. in Robert Wise's book, there is a nice still photo of him pouring additional buckets of water over Julie...cos as any wetlook producer knows...you only look "wet" for about 5 minutes on camera...and so if you have to do re-takes or it is a long scene with breaks...you must keep constantly wetting down your talent in order to preserve continuity and to keep the actress looking as wet as she was when she first exited the lake.
Similarly there is a nice photo in John Ford's movie book...with him taking sadistic delight in constantly having to pour extra buckets of water over Maureen O'Hara to keep her looking totally soaked in her white party dress in THE WINGS OF EAGLES.

By Sopping - Fri 06/06/03 05:15:23 GMT ...but this is not the classic wet sequence which was when she was in the boat with the kids which spilled everyone into the water. She was wearing a dress which was most attractive when soaked.
