Yes it's really slow at the moment. However, their new version looks to work better for webmasters who like to do some advertising on their website and to post updates.

The new design depends on personal taste. I liked the old design better, my wife likes the new design better.

As for the performance I would say give them just some more time to overwork the database and stuf like that. I'm sure they have the skills to get more spped soon.

Worked great before redone. Why not leave well enough alone! Not crazy about the new format either.
