There are various ways of bypassing the block, especially in Firefox -- but if you're lazy like me, or you switch between different computers and browsers a lot and don't want to be bothered with configuring them, here's a tip I found with Google: just right-click on the very bottom edge of the picture. Apparently the transparent gif that overlays the real picture doesn't quite cover the whole thing. This sounded so simple I didn't believe it could possibly work, but I've been able to save a bunch of images that way. The sweet spot is a very narrow band only a pixel or two wide so you need a steady hand -- if you're a little too high you get spaceball, or a little too low you miss the image completely -- but if you miss just click cancel and try again. The nice thing is it works on any browser. |

By the chiller - Thu 26/02/09 20:57:33 GMT Hi there, in I.E. you'd just have to go to your EXPLORER CACHE, something like: C:\Documents and settings\(YOUR USER NAME)\local settings\Temporary Internet Files\ (then to the sub-DIRs) now you can look it up - youtube clips can be found here, too! ;) ---> It's a lot easier with some Data-Commander Software, sort the files to their TIME or DATE or SIZE (clips!) - voila! Hope this will help :) stay wet! |
