Norway too seems to be getting the UK shows reasonably quickly - "Heartbeat" is probably the worst, being ca a year behind its UK schedule (ie the "Heartbeat" episodes shown here, were shown in the UK about a year ago). |

By MK - wamtec@comcast.net Sun 28/12/08 16:19:22 GMT Tks for the tip....I will make a note in my calendar....for January 2015....ha ha...cos thats how far behind we are in the USA with Eastenders....i.e. the episodes they show in the USA in Florida, are 6 years behind the UK (we are still airing 2002 shows). At least with Dr Who...they air those episodes in the USA only 3 months later than the UK.
Seriously though...it will be 6 years before anybody in the USA will see this episodes, so it would be great if somebody from the UK can capture this and upload it to theWambank.com
The only 2 countries that get UK shows fairly quickly...are Canada and Australia.,

By WetNoise - wetnoise@googlemail.com Sun 28/12/08 11:52:54 GMT Website: http://wetlooker.blogspot.com/ Spotted this at http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/blog/scoop/ :
"First up, we have the moment where Roxy Mitchell (Rita Simons) finds herself trapped beneath the ice of a frozen lake and her sister Ronnie (Samantha Janus) desperately tries to save her. A crazed Sean Slater (Rob Kazinksy) and Roxy find themselves stranded in the middle of a frozen lake and plummet into the dark depths of the water below.
"When Ronnie and Jack (Scott Maslen) finally track them down, they look on as the ice gives way beneath Roxy and Sean's feet. Without thinking, Ronnie jumps into the water in an attempt to save her sister. Who'll make it out alive? It all kicks off on New Year's Day on BBC One."
There are a couple of pics in the article too; one of Roxy and Ronnie underwater, and further down the page a "before" shot of Roxy standing on the ice.
This is the first time I've ever looked forward to watching Eastenders.
