I gotta agree with Anthony. Leather boots, while still being wearable, definitely change once they've been submerged for twenty minutes. With treatment they'll be good again but still won't have that new look to them. You might want to consider getting a pair of wrecking-boots. |

By AnthonyX - anthonyx@jowc.net Wed 24/12/08 03:02:59 GMT You might want to suggest tubbin' in something other than the new boots - at least so she can enjoy them in a more conventional way for a little while first. Won't be much of a Christmas gift if they are trashed within a couple of days. Surely you can get her a cheaper non-Xmas-gift pair of boots just for dunking.

By darbtew - Wed 24/12/08 02:36:32 GMT Hey guys! My girlfriend wants to get wet with me. I bought her some new leather boots for X-Mas. Now, if they are treated...can they get wet and survive? I spent alot of money on them and we don't want to ruin them just yet. Any input before X-Mas Eve would be nice as we are planning to go tubbin'! Thanks and...Merry Christmas!!!!!!
