I'm a vet of this war and 2 previous conflicts. We (some of us that is) didn't want to be there, but we signed up to obey The Commander In Chief, whether we agreed or disagreed with his motives - Bush Sr, Clinton, & GW. When you're in the Armed Forces, you do what you were trained to do, and part of that training is to follow the chain of command - whether you agree or not. SO, with that said, I salute all of you fellow vets. And anyone who wants to be disrespectful to a simple raising of the glass, I would gladly meet you in a pub parking lot at any time to discuss this topic like men - or gentlemen... either way, you probably would need help picking your a## off the pavement.

you were sent to look for weapons of mass destructions in iraq which didn't exits

you were sent to quell the taliban in afghanistan. you didn't

this was a war gwb wanted to make for no othere reason than to finish what his father started.

I hate to see any soldier die but this is not a noble cause.
